Rick J. Dlugasch

Rick has over 30 years of experience providing services in the areas of corporate, partnership, and international taxation, tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, assurance, and litigation support. He has extensive expertise serving the real estate, technology, and manufacturing industries. His deep industry knowledge combined with his experience serving both the private and public sectors enables him to provide comprehensive services when solving complex business issues.

Prior to joining Waldron Rand in 1989, Rick held several high level positions in both private and public companies. Rick served as a partner in the tax department of Tofias, Fleischman & Shapiro, P.C., now known as CBIZ Tofias and Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. In addition, he was the chief financial officer at a prominent mortgage company where he played an instrumental role in the company's initial public offering. Prior to joining the Firm, Rick worked at a privately held real estate development and management company.

Rick is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is the Firm's representative member for KS International (KSi), an association of top international accounting practices focused on serving clients with international taxation and business needs. He has spoken at various industry conferences on tax and real estate topics. His work has been published in Taxes: The Tax Magazine "Investment Tax Credit for Certified Historic Structures Converted to Condominiums." Rick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern University and his Master of Science degree in Taxation from McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley College.
